Another bites the dust… #8

Number 9, number 9, number 9, …

Anyway the 9th bank closed is Columbian Bank in Kansas.

In the words of Freddie Mercury, Another one bites the dust
http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/failed/banklist.html
from 10-13-2000 to 06/25/04 the FDIC closed 25 banks.
then, until Feb 2007. nothing.
They’ve closed 8 banks since Feb 2nd 2007. and 5 in 2008 alone.
How many banks will the FDIC take control over in 2008?
The winning answer will be based off the above link, repeated here ( http://www.fdic.gov/bank/individual/failed/banklist.html ) and how many banks are on that list as of 01/01/2009.
Please note that this specifically excludes iBanks like Bear Stearns. The FDIC list is law, as it will keep me from having to define what constitutes a bank, and what not.
