Is it just me or is Norway oddly absent from this list?
Norway probably should be listed. I missed Norway because they had only 2 golds in 2006. Their total was a respectable 19, 6th place. Norway is included in “another country”.
To clarify: Another country is any single unlisted country leading in the medal count, not a total of all other countries.
The country that wins the most total medals during the 2010 Winter Olympics will triumph in this market. Ties will be broken by the most gold medals, and then by the most silver medals. The winner will be determined (and cashed out) as soon as possible after the closing ceremonies. Adjustments to the medal counts made after the closing ceremonies will be ignored. The market will close to betting halfway through the Games.

Another country will pay off if a single other country has the lead, this is not the total of all countries not listed.
Austria (not Australia)
Switzerland
Sweden
South Korea
Italy, the 2006 host nation
