| PREDICTIONS | CURRENT VALUE | TODAY |
| Michael Phelps | $98.53/ $100.00 | (closed) |
| Braylon Edwards | $1.47/ $0.00 | (closed) |
Edwards doesnt stand a chance. He’ll be lucky at this point to get 17 receptions let alone TD’s I bet him this morning -500 not to get 17 TD’s at this site:

Cheap price. This time last year he already had 2 TD"s this year…zilch!
Over half way through the season and Edwards only has 3 TDs. He has zero chance of getting to 16.
So Edwards scored 3 TD’s all season, which was not enough.
The idea for this market is stolen from an article that appeared on Yahoo Sports News, here:

This market will close at the conclusion of the last game the Browns play. I am going to give Edwards the benefit of the post season, up to and including SuperBowl XLIII, should the Browns advance that far. It is unclear if the wager that Edwards and Phelps have includes the post season, so this is a judgment call that I am making.

Braylon Edwards vs. Michael Phelps: Who ya got?
By MJD
Braylon Edwards is a fantastic wide receiver. A master gambler, he probably is not.
Before the Olympics, as Braylon and Phelps were hanging out somewhere talking about all things Michigan (take that, Miami of Ohio!), they struck up a bet. Braylon wagered that he’d score twice as many touchdowns as Michael Phelps would win gold medals (gracias, FanHouse).
Phelps, as you may have heard, won eight.
The foot injury wasn’t a complete loss. Edwards used the time on his couch to catch up with swimmer Michael Phelps’ chase for history at the Olympics.
Edwards and Phelps have University of Michigan ties and struck up a friendship. Edwards bragged before Beijing that he would more than double Phelps’ gold-medal total with touchdown catches. After Phelps’ record eight golds, Edwards needs to set another franchise record.
I don’t know exactly what’s on the line, but I hope Braylon’s getting odds. He’s going to have to be injury-free and dominant to win this one.
Myself, I don’t bet against Michael Phelps. That would feel like betting against America.
You?
Michael Phelps will win more Gold than half of the total TD’s that Edwards scores this season. In other words, Edwards will score less than 16 TD for this choice to cash out to $100/share.
Braylon Edwards will score twice as many TD’s as Michael Phelps won gold medals (Phelps won 8 Golds, so that would be 16 or more TD’s).
