This market needs clarification. Do you mean, Italy will make it to the Euro 2008 Final Four next summer? Or do you mean, Italy will be in the top four best teams to qualify for the Euro 2008 tournament? At this point, it’s not even certain that they will qualify.
Yeah, I have revised as you suggested. Thank you a lot!
or even just qualify ‘for’ the uefa euro 2008 “finals” (meaning all the games played next summer in Austria and Switzerland)..
hardly one of the four most outstanding qualifiers by this point
and since market is closing so soon it seems unexpected to predict semi-finalists!?
so, how long would you think it would be better? like 2 months?
This is my prediction market course project, and I want gain some understanding in Inkling. As well, I think if Italy gets qualified, it is easy for them to enter final four.
Freshyoyo! Didn’t mean to nag. I missed your reply to Bryandaja (in-between). First of all, definition of what result determines success/failure needs to be clear. Leave no room for ambiguity and disputes. In some cases it’s helpful or needed to assign by what authority.
Second, market should end before the result becomes evident. If question should be answered definitely at some point before full time the market should close immediately and value of the the “stock” be set to $100 if affirmed or $0 if not.
However, what question appears more intriguing for speculation is (from my point of view) quite arbitrary. Any or a set of different questions, at different odds, could be asked, e.g.
Will Italy qualify to the Final tournament of UEFA EURO 2008?
(Close ahead of game on Nov 21 or earlier, whenever outcome is determined)
Or as I reckon you suggest(?):
Will Italy qualify and make through the Final tournament to the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2008?
Or perhaps even one question on each possible stage they may reach.. (ultimately win the title of 2008).
Hi. What is going on with this market? It has been closed. What’s up?
Not cool. Seriously uncool.
Yeah, what’s going on here?
Let’s predict Italy’s future in the UEFA EURO 2008™
