Market update — As with my other Champions League market, I plan on closing this market during games, to prevent traders from cashing in on sudden in-game developments. With “matchdays” being Tuesday and Wednesday, I’ll close the market Tuesday morning, then reopen it on Wednesday after the matches have ended. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Sorry for the delay. I’m a United fan, and traveled to Manchester to watch the final with thousands of other Reds.
With just 16 teams left in the 2007-08 UEFA Champions League, the race is on to be the competition’s top scorer. Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimović currently top the charts with 5 goals apiece. Who will be there in the end?
For the purposes of this market, I listed the 24 players with at least 3 goals thus far (and whose teams are still alive), plus an entry (Field) for anyone not named. There could be some big names in that group — including Kaka, last edition’s top scorer.
The market will close on May 21, 2008, the day of the final. In the event of a tie, I will pay 100 inkles to all players at the top of the list, with no tiebreakers.
