Given it’s only early November, we’ve opened this back up until the end of the year and will close it out once there is some new data available.

This market has been closed for 10 weeks and still not cashed out. What’s up with that?

Kippson   •   Fri Aug 21 2009 at 12:57pm PDT

This needs to be either cashed out or refunded.

Kippson   •   Thu Aug 13 2009 at 01:31pm PDT

can we cash this out please?

AxmxZ   •   Thu Aug 13 2009 at 09:26am PDT

So, is this getting cashed out ever, or what?

Creigs   •   Mon Aug 10 2009 at 11:36pm PDT

Why was this closed on July 13? The year 2009 isn’t over yet! Maybe the outcome is obvious, but that’s the whole point of a market, isn’t it? Still something (although unlikely) could happen to change the results – a bankruptcy, an unpopular takeover, a really bad software glitch that has the whole community running for the hills.

If you are going to keep this closed, then please cash us out.

The post you linked to is from May 2008. Unsurprisngly, Nielsen already released the updated data back in June.

“By Nielsen’s calculations, Facebook continued to lead as the #1 social networking site for the sixth month in a row, with 87.3 million unique visitors in June 2009.”

I think twitter is not in the same league as Facebook and MySpace…

How is popular measured?

Fredjames   •   Thu Apr 30 2009 at 08:24am PDT

Facebook looks like the new and emerging leader in the social networking sites. The question remains how do we get the end users to loosen up their purse strings for marketing products. The facebook crowd seems more mature and in an improved economy users are higher end prospects.

The Historical Trend chart does not display all prices ever reached since it is only updated at discrete time intervals, (hourly/daily/weekly, depending on the date range).
