Mr Erdogan has recently been concentrating his fire on MHP voters by espousing strongly nationalist views. A string of seamy sex videos involving MHP parliamentarians has also mysteriously appeared on the internet. Asked who might be responsible, Tugrul Turkes, an MP from the MHP, asks “Cui bono?”: a hint that the videos must come from somewhere in the AK party, which hopes that squeezing the MHP below 10% might yet win it the elusive two-thirds majority.
