I use “oops” cash outs anyway. No post-news trading.

In the end Herman Cain will prefer Obama as President.

MFWinAlford   •   Fri Jan 20 2012 at 01:57am PST

I believe Cain has endorsed Colbert. ;)

SneakyPete   •   Mon Jan 16 2012 at 11:25am PST

Jon Huntsman has dropped out of the race.

And so have Michelle Bachman and Rick Perry.

Cain says no endorsement coming soon (19 Jan – prior to SC primary).
“I am not endorsing anybody today or in the very immediate future,” he said on the call, which NBC News listened to after getting a tip. “I can’t say I won’t endorse, but not in the immediate time frame.”

Maybe I’m too cynical, but to me this sounds like ‘I won’t endorse anyone unless I think I can get something really interesting in return’, in which case it’s better to wait until it’s clear what candidate stands a good chance of winning anyhow, and endorse him (her is getting unlikelier by the day).

mdrichards   •   Tue Dec 06 2011 at 03:54pm PST

Either that or it’s just a desperate attempt to stay relevant. Sell a few more books perhaps.

SneakyPete   •   Sun Dec 04 2011 at 07:42pm PST

Odds are, that he will endorse someone prior to the Iowa caucus, 3 Jan 11 to make sure that his presence remains known.
