In Alabama with 98% of the votes counted, Santorum has been declared the winner with 34.5% of the votes, Gingrich in second with 29.3%, Romney with 29.0% and Paul with 5.0%. Santorum gets 19 delegates, Gingrich 12 and Romney 11. http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/primaries/states/alabama

Looks like Newt eked out 2nd place in both Alabama and Mississippi, with Mittens coming in third!

Missippi yes but Alabama is still too close to call. 40 vote difference at this time. http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/primaries/states/alabama
