Update: It’s now mid-May but the official approval of the names has not occurred. I’ll close out this question as soon as I see the announcement.

The voting is over. Choosing the winning names will take over a month.

Official announcement:
-
We have been overwhelmed by the world’s response. Thank you to all 450,324 who voted!
See the acknowledgments for a list of the many people who helped make this vote possible.
Please be patient now. It could take 1-2 months for the final names of P4 and P5 to be selected and approved. Stay tuned.

Vulcan should do pretty well with the Trekkies.

I cast a write-in ballot for Bob. You know, if all Inklingers cast their daily ballot at http://www.plutorocks.com/write-in maybe Bob will have a chance. Was there a Bob in Greek or Roman mythology though???

> Was there a Bob in Greek or Roman mythology though?

I seem to remember a “Bobacles”? ;-) Probably a very minor deity…

By the way, with 15 possible names in this question and with a guarantee that only 2 names will be picked, this question has a good possibility of playing the odds to bet against all choices…

Graphs will begin to show data one hour after the question has been open. The Historical Trend chart does not display all prices ever reached since it is only updated at discrete time intervals, (hourly/daily/weekly, depending on the date range).
