Will this question settle on the Ambient Air temperature measured or a “heat index”

bobdevine   •   Mon Jun 23 2014 at 06:43pm PDT

I’ll judge using the regular temperature from an official source — NWS, NOAA, airport, etc.

Request for help — if I miss when one of the five cities hit 95, please let me know.

My guess is that this question will wrap up in a few weeks when the July heat hits.

bobdevine   •   Thu Jul 31 2014 at 11:23am PDT

UPDATE: I extended trading on this question by 3 weeks to August 21st. It’s been a cool summer (don’t tell Al Gore). None of the 5 cities have come close to 95F yet. Maybe August will be warmer.

Rationales

"MN and Chicago get similar weather patterns I see them exceeding the temperature in one day."
