I apologize for the somewhat ambiguous wording. continues to list Brian Williams as the anchor and managing editor of Nightly News, so I’m going to resolve this as true unless someone can make a tremendously strong argument otherwise.

I tend to agree with you @brnlsl. Williams was suspended but not fired, therefore retaining his titles. However, this market was opened right when he was suspended… so was the intent to see if he would be fired from his position in the meantime?

So how should this resolve? My (biased) opinion is that he still held the title of anchor and managing editor, he was just suspended, but I could see it argued the other way. @benthinkin what do you think?

He’s suspended, but I believe he is still the managing editor.
