Obama (and spokespeople) has suggested he will veto this bill. It includes provisions that would make it virtually impossible to close Gitmo, among other things. Will he follow through?

The market is only asking if President Obama will use his veto pen/power to kick back any leislation sent him by the Senate. I full aagree that the likelihood of the Senate conducting an over-ride of a President veto is very unlikely.

There are now 37 votes to sustain a veto on the Iran deal. 4 more to go. Looking at the list of the 7 dems left undecided, I think getting 4 is highly likely.
