This is the volcano Tunupa (Cerro Tunupa) on the edge of Salar de Uyuni, one of the two largest salt flats in the world. The salt flat is located at 3650 meters altitude in Bolivia, where we booked an excursion in 2007 with an overnight stay at the foot of the volcano.
